Walnut Cove Realty is the region’s #1 luxury boutique brokerage, and my experience includes luxury homes, legacy properties, and real estate investments across the market. I moved to Asheville nine years ago as the General Manager of The Cliffs at Walnut Cove, which gave me a deep understanding of luxury communities, land, and what truly drives long-term value. Today, I work with investors, second-home buyers, and full-time residents, bringing a practical, straightforward perspective to every transaction. I stay closely connected to market trends while remaining directly involved in deals, allowing me to offer clear guidance without the noise. Outside of real estate, I’m married to a Mission Hospital nurse and am a proud dad to two middle-school daughters. Asheville isn’t just where I work—it’s home.

After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a degree in Business Management, I moved back to Durham and soon after started working at Hertz Equipment Rental. In 1998 I began my real estate career with Frank Ward Realtors. In 1999 I started Ward & Misenheimer Realtors with my two other business partners. From 2000 to 2010 we operated as Coldwell Banker Ward & Misenheimer before joining Fonville Morisey Realty in October of 2010. In November of 2016 my business partners and I decided to start back up Ward & Misenheimer Realtors. Some Of my achievements include:* Director for the Durham Regional Association of Realtors (DRAR). Served on the Social Committee for the DRAR.*Director for the Triangle Multiple Listing Service from 2003 to 2010.*Graduate of Realtors Institute*2009 DRAR Realtor of the Years.
