Genevieve Childs

Helping people find the place they will call home is what makes real estate meaningful to me. Over the past five years, I’ve continued investing in my education so I can better serve the people who place their trust in me. I understand that buying or selling a home is more than a financial transaction. A home can hold years of memories, represent a fresh beginning, or mark an important step toward a family’s future. I care about getting to know my clients, understanding what matters most to them, and helping them navigate the process with confidence. One of the most meaningful parts of my career is working alongside my mother and real estate partner, Sheila Landeros. Together at Weichert Realtors Welch & Company, we bring personal attention, teamwork, and integrity to the people we serve. My goal is to build relationships rooted in trust, honest communication, and genuine care—long after the keys are handed over.

To me, "local" isn't just a buzzword—it’s my life story. I was born and bred locally right in Newton, and I’ve spent my life building a home and a community in the Hesston area. My "why" is rooted in these neighborhoods; I don’t just see properties, I see the places where your life’s best memories will happen. With over 10 years in the business, I’ve combined my deep regional roots with a high-level professional touch. Whether I’m advocating for our kids as President of both the Middle School and Elementary PTO, networking as a Hesston Chamber member, or enjoying a Saturday as an avid golfer, I am deeply invested in our growth. If you’re looking for a relocation specialist who understands the heart of Kansas, I’m ready to lead the way. I treat every client like a neighbor because, around here, you usually are.
